Two electronic creators (and brothers) rooted in Dutch, Belgium and British techno dance, video score composers, art director and contentcreation plus sound are joining forces to shape a new identity. Their vision is to design an urban concrete sound: raw, rhythmic and immersive, built from the jazzypulse of city streets. Build from the heartbeating bass. They want to connect different mediums music, moving images, and spoken word into one seamless experience.

Their sound design balances heavy, industrial textures with subtle layers of voice and melody, reflecting the tension between chaos and harmony in modern urban life. By blending the relentless energy of techno with cinematic scoring techniques and the intimacy of podcast-style audio, they aim to craft an atmosphere where listeners feel both grounded and elevated.

"Thes projects are not just about beats or visuals, but about connection. It’s about creating a shared sonic landscape that resonates like concrete: solid, resilient, and deeply urban vibe. Creating Concrete Dreams. "

Producer, marketer, AI-wiz and videocreator Patrick Petersen

Patrick PetersenWhen I first heard the bassline from Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean something clicked deep inside me. It wasn’t just another groove it was alive, pulsing with a heartbeat of its own. That hypnotic, steady rhythm carried a sense of mystery and urgency, as if it was pulling the entire song forward while still leaving room for everything else to shine.

From that moment on, I developed a real love for the bass. It felt like the secret engine of music, the foundation you don’t always notice at first but can’t live without once you feel it. I started in the 80s with the 4-track Soundtracker on the Commodore Amiga. As a student, I had a drive DJ show where I mixed in my own productions or added drum machine or laptop sequencer loops to mix live. At that time then invested in a home studio with a TR-909/707/505, Yamaha PSR, Fruityloops, W-30, Prologic, Fruityloops, AKAI sampler and a 16-track Yamaha digital DM3 mixdown

As I kept listening to more music, I began to notice how this same driving energy evolved in later genres, especially in dance and electronic tracks. The bass no longer just supported the music it dominated it, leading people onto the dance floor, pushing the rhythm into your body until you had no choice but to move.

The deep thump of house, the rolling patterns of techno, the punch of modern EDM, futuristic dancemixes of old David Bowie songs and bands like Depeche Mode, all of them felt like an echo of that first spark from Billie Jean.

In a way, that single bassline planted a seed. What started as a fascination grew into a passion, and today I find myself always searching for the next track with a bass that doesn’t just sound good but feels like it’s driving the whole world forward Building Bass.

Producer and art director Marc Petersen

Marc PetersenMarc Petersen is a highly experienced art director with a keen eye for detail and an endless drive for innovation. His creative roots are deeply tied to music: the experimental sounds of David Bowie, the melodic synthbass of A-ha and Duran Duran, and the dark, pulsing grooves of Depeche Mode shape his artistic compass.

In his work, Marc is constantly searching for the dimension where music and visuals merge. He translates rhythm and melody into powerful designs, graphics, and animations that not only support the sound but create a parallel narrative.

For Marc, Building Bass means more than just a musical layer it is the foundation on which he constructs his visual universe. The deep lines of bass are like architectural structures: a framework of sound where images can settle, grow, and expand.

The curvature of a waveform becomes the arc of a graphic shape.

A rhythm can echo in the repetition of patterns, and a sudden break in the music mirrors the sharp edge of a visual cut. In this tension between form and sound, Marc finds his creative freedom – a world where music becomes visible, and visuals resonate like music.
